Patterned Text
For this project you are to develop a type of text and create a 3-dimensional version of it out of cardboard
•Letters are to be approximately the size of a standard sheet of paper if not bigger.
•After letters are assembled, they need to be painted white with acrylic paint.
•Once painted, you need to research different patterns that can be painted on the surface of the letters.

THE ENTIRE SURFACE OF YOUR LETTERS MUST BE PAINTED

•Patterns must cover the flat portions of your letters – the sides of your letters can be painted in different colors if you would like.

ONLY ONE SIDE OF YOUR LETTERS NEED TO BE PAINTED

You will be graded based on the following:

•In-progress critique of sculpture (including sketch of your work) at ONE WEEK:  40 pts.

•Letters constructed, primed and painted with 2 different patterns.
