Derrick Adams

Picture

We will be developing a stylized* portrait that utilizes various shades of skin tone and pattern

•Portrait can be based off of a personal photograph or image sourced online

•Figures should be stylized and exaggerated but contain the following:
•Skin tone – 12 different shades
•Clothing – 5 or more shades of color
•3 patterns

*Stylize -
depict or treat in a non-realistic style. (Exaggerated and/or generalized features)  Stylized work takes natural forms and alters the color, shapes, lines and features. Therefore, the art appears similar to the natural state while also looking more dramatic or abstract.
