Narrative Photography
The goal of this assignment is to create photographs that tell a larger story than what can simply be captured in the in an instant.
Each photo should demonstrate one or more of the elements and principles of design...from assignment 1!!
We are going to to take the following photos:
2 Individual photographs that tell a unique story.
-For each story you will take 5 pictures and choose your favorite one.
-For one image, you are to recreate a scene from a well known fairy tale. You can make adaptations to the story if you would like...
-Along with the photo, include the text from the story
-For the second image, you will invent a photographic interpretation of a poem or song lyrics (remember, school appropriate). The photo should be a direct or indirect interpretation of the poem/lyrics.
-Accompanying your photo should be the poem/lyrics
3 Sets of Sequential photos (of 5 or more) which tell a simple story.
-For each set of photo please write at least two paragraphs describing the sequence as it progresses from beginning to end .
-Each photo should be either added to a google slide starting with a title slide including text on each slide, or on a 11"x 17" google drawing with all of the photos in order including a text box with the story).
Each story should be created in its own google slide show. Additional "alternative option" photos should be placed in slides after the story for me to see.
