Reflection Photos
For part of this project, you will be working in a similar fashion to how you created your multiples in a picture project, taking two photos and editing them together. In one photo, a figure (the subject) is the main focus. In the second photo, the focus will be on what is happening in the reflection.
Start by scouting out locations around the school and elsewhere that you can see different types of reflections (windows, mirrors, puddles etc.).
Edit your photos together in Pixlr using the crop, and selection tools to copy/paste different sections of images together. (demonstrated in class)
Hint: Use a tripod to make sure the images you are editing together have the same identical backgrounds.
For this project, you will compose 20 photos
10 photos (10 pts each) will be created - each by editing together two different photos which contain the same figure interacting with the reflections.
10 (5 pts each) photos will be created by capturing a figure along with the reflection in the same shot.
Photos MUST BE edited to produce a quality photo. Color levels are encouraged to be edited along with brightness and contrast to ensure a well lit, and properly developed photo.
