Read CHAPTER FIVE: Using Backgrounds, Sets and Props from Wiley-The Art and Style of Product Photography.
PART ONE:
Find 5 INTERESTING OBJECTS.
Photograph each in 5 different backgrounds:
1 - in front of a WHITE well lit BACKGROUND...
1 - with objects that relate to it...
1 - with something that DOES NOT relate to it...
1 - in a "normal" or "appropriate for the object" background
1 - with background of your choosing...
Backgrounds should include examples of at least ONE of the Elements and Principles of Design.

PART TWO:

Find 4 Different Objects
Photograph each in the following ways:
-With a White Background (5 pts)
-With dramatic, two-toned colored lighting using black background (10pts)
-Superimposed onto a background using PIXLR (10pts)
-As an advertisement. Create a spread for your product involving multiple types of text, background shapes/objects/superimposition (20pts)
